Traditional Art / Mixed Media / Fantasy

A little artistic experiment to get me back into the groove. I've been missing traditional art lately, and with puppy duty keeping me off the comp, I needed something to focus on. So, the last time I was at my local Walmart, I stopped in the art aisle and picked up a pad of a nice textured paper. It's actually watercolor paper, but I was curious to see how it would do with marker and colored pencil. This is the result!

Berlin has an epic style. =B I enjoyed playing with paper for that texture.

I love the effects you get with markers on watercolour paper, its excellent. nice to see traditional work, so much of the work seems to be digital, nice piece.
